A fantastic opportunity has become available working as a Sales Manager for a leading Insurance organisation.
Based within Edinburgh you will be responsible to generate new prospects / leads within a defined territory, arrange appointments and visit new and existing clients to promote Insurances products and services to SME organizations.
Your main duties will include –
- Using various methods including cold calling clients on a daily basis to attract and gain new business contacts
- Arrange appointments with prospective clients
- Arrange and attend meetings including networking events to attract and retain new business
- Provide presentations and informative talks
- Lead generation
- Maintain an up to date sales forecast
- Secure contracts in line with agreed sales targets
- Identify new markets to diversify and develop the existing business
- Maintain databases and keep up to date records
- Accurate and timorous recording of data
- Presentation and analysis of data for management reports
- Liaise with operation staff to ensure agreed standards of service are maintained
- Deal effectively with all enquiries and liaise with internal and external customers
- Selling face to face
- Closing deals!
This is a brilliant opportunity for a hungry, passionate and driven Sales professional who is looking to build or continue a successful sales career within Insurance.
To be considered for this position my client will only accept candidates who offer the following –
Excellent communication and inter personal skills with the ability to build relationships, create opportunities and deliver what the client requires
Naturally focused, driven and passionate about Sales
Background selling Insurance would be preferred but not essential
Be commercially aware and offer consistent B2B sales experience in field or front line sales
Self disciplined and a self starter
You must offer tenacity
Structure and excellent organisation skills
Very KPI / Goal driven
Lateral thinking
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
Must be patient and persistent
Offer confidence, be personable and energetic with a warm personality
Dynamic, forward thinking and offer empathy
Excellent team player with a focused approach
Clean UK Driving license
