Job Description

Applications are invited for the post of Cleaner at West Calder Fire Station.

The postholder is required to carry out a variety of general cleaning duties within the premises. Applicants should note that the working hours for this post is a total of two hours only per week.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is desirable, ideally gained within a commercial/industrial environment.

Applicants must also have experience of working without direct supervision to achieve a high cleaning standard, and must be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Membership of the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSs), knowledge and experience of COSHH, and experience of using cleaning equipment are also desirable, although training can be provided.
