Financial Accountant Edinburgh   £30000 - £40000.00 per annum + Bonus and Additional Cash Package

A major Financial Services company based in Edinburgh currently has two vacancies for Financial Accountants to join the Financial Review and Challenge team whose primary aim is to review and challenge financial data gathered from the Group. This is an exciting job opportunity within a fast paced team which will provide you with opportunities to progress rapidly within the business.

You will be working within a team responsible for the review and challenge of core data gathered from Financial Divisions within the Group. You will be responsible for managing relationships across key divisions and conducting monthly and quarterly reviews of data and be able to confidently review and challenge the information presented. You will support the team in continuous improvement initiatives and therefore excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of working autonomously within Financial Services and be able to work effectively under tight deadlines. You will also have experience of International Accounting Standards and be able to utilise your strong communication skills in order to engage with key stakeholders and confidently challenge financial data.

System knowledge of Walker/HCS/INEA/Oracle would also be beneficial.
