Racam Security & Communications Ltd Field Service Engineer - Security Systems Glasgow   £Negotiable

We are seeking to recruit a field service engineer whose duties will include the repair and maintenance of all types of security system including:-

• CCTV
• Intruder Alarm
• Access Control
• Door Entry Systems

The company Salary: Negotiable depending on experience plus standby allowance & overtime.

A company van, mobile telephone, notebook computer and job specific tools will be provided.

Our standard working week is 37.5 hours from 08:30 – 16:30 hours Monday to Friday. The company operates an on call rota system which you will be required to participate in for which an additional standby payment and overtime will be paid.

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within the industry and possess a good technical education with a relevant trade qualification and have served a modern apprenticeship or equivalent. The candidate will be required to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision and demonstrate an understanding and ability to trouble shoot faults in both analogue and IP CCTV systems as well as intruder alarms and online access control systems. The candidate will have the ability to complete paperwork and provide clear oral and written reports.

In addition you will have a full UK clean driving license and ideally a CSCS card. IPAF & PASMA certificates would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
