Financial Accountant Lanarkshire South   £25,000 - £27,500 Plus Benefits

Anderson Knight is currently working on behalf of a major client based in the Lanarkshire area, our client has recently acquired a new business and as such seek to recruit a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their existing finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key duties of this role will include:

- Preparation of monthly financial accounts

- Preparation of monthly financial statements

- VAT Returns

- Balance Sheet Reconciliations

- Company Re-Charges

- Perform month end close activities and reporting

- Review Sub Ledger to GL Reconciliations

The ideal candidate will must be actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA with a pro-active attitude, you will have the ability to work within a fast paced environment coupled with strong excel knowledge. You will be competent around month end processing whilst having a strong background in financial statements. Experience of working within a large corporate or blue chip organisation is preferred.
