The Role:

PRG’s client, a Top 10 Scottish firm of Chartered Accountants is looking to recruit a responsible and motivated team player to join their audit team and assist with the ongoing growth of their business in Edinburgh.

Potential candidates will be a qualified accountant and will have already gained considerable experience of auditing and financial reporting for a range of different clients. The candidate will have a positive can do attitude; carry out instructions on time, diligently and to the requested standard.

Responsibilities will include:

• Completing an audit from planning to finalisation
• Detailed audit testing at client’s premises
• Preparing draft statutory accounts and related disclosures
• Consolidation
• Managing the onsite progress of audit jobs
• Review and management of the onsite audit team
• Working within budget and timescales.

A flexible approach to work is essential as well as a willingness to travel to other offices and to conduct audits on client premises as required.
