Based in Edinburgh City Centre, my client is seeking an experienced PMO/Project Manager to a contract opportunity. Working on a major strategic change programme you will be required to manage a workstream with both business and technology elements to it.

This is a challenging role which requires an individual that is experienced and confident in PMO and Project management who is able to work off their own initiative, working with/managing stakeholders in multi locations and at a variety of levels.

Duties to include:

Project Management;

  • Creation and ownership of project plan and accountability for on time delivery of milestones
  • Ownership and management of all associated risks/Issues and dependencies
  • Co-ordination and Stakeholder management of project, business and technology partners as appropriate to ensure delivery
  • Running working group and project control committees as appropriate
  • Representative for project at committees as appropriate
  • Change control management

    • PMO:

  • PMO
  • Set up and ongoing ownership of programme and portfolio governance,


    • Including:

  • Co-ordination of programme and portfolio committees/meeting
  • Acting as secretariat for the above
  • Risk, issues and dependency logs
  • Gatekeeper for programme confidentiality agreements
  • Budget and cost management
  • Co-ordination and creation of agenda and materials for all Change committees and inputs to other committees as required
  • Development of overarching programme plan
  • Change control management
  • Programme and portfolio status reporting
  • Portfolio pipeline management
  • Project management
  • Ownership and delivery of a project within a key strategic programme
