It is an exciting time at sportscotland and one of the most exhilarating periods in the recent history of Scottish sport following Scotland’s success at the London Olympics. To assist in shaping our future ambitions for sport in the run up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, we are recruiting a Head of Human Resources to lead our HR and Learning and Development functions.
You will be responsible for leading sportscotland in attracting, selecting, recognising, rewarding and developing the very best staff through the creation and implementation of a business focused people strategy linked to our corporate plan. You will work closely with the senior management team and people of all levels to provide proactive and innovative HR and learning and development solutions, taking into account best practice and current legislation.
CIPD qualified, you will have experience of leading a dynamic human resources team. You will be able to influence sportscotland on the direction of travel for HR delivery and learning in the organisation and in doing so you will demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a passion for our people.
