Business Development Manager - IT Edinburgh   £40000 per annum + bonus

Based in Edinburgh, this established IT software company has been providing innovative products to the telecommunications market for over a decade. With a client base that stretches across Europe, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward new business growth and development. With a solid understanding of IT technical and software sales you will have proven experience in a similar role. You will have a thorough understanding of the telecommunication and financial services market and will be confident in identifying and closing new business opportunities. With experience in relationship management, you will have the skills and knowledge to target new accounts whilst simultaneously managing and developing existing customer relationships.

Having worked in the telecommunications market you will have a motivated and proactive approach to your work. Additionally you will be confident in bringing together and presenting business proposals in an accurate and professional manner, helping to boost the company profile within the European market place. A background in IT technical and software sales is essential, specifically within the call centre and financial services markets.
