Project Engineer

Our client is a global engineering services company based in Lanarkshire and has achieved an outstanding reputation for quality and performance within their industry. As a result of their continued growth and success, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Engineer.

Reporting to the General Manager the Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, to a high quality and safe manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Key point of contact between client and company for allocated projects
  • Determine requirements at the beginning for project to ensure early customer definition
  • Control the resource requirements throughout the project
  • Create variation orders and engineering change requests as required
  • Deliver project on time to milestones and within budgeted hours
  • Manage validation and verification of the product
  • Identify and manage project risks
  • Final document delivery

    • The ideal candidate:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
  • Experience in contract/project management
  • Knowledge of offshore environment
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to form and develop relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes
