Financial Planning Analyst

My Global Technology Client is looking to add an experienced Financial Analyst to their team on a 12 month day rate maternity cover contract.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows -

  • Manage weekly orders and revenue
  • Manage monthly P&L outlook process
  • Quarterly Risk review
  • Ownership of monthly close process for the region, reporting accurate results - analysing and commenting on key variances
  • Assist in the development of strategic and annual plans
  • Ownership of the consolidation and analysis of annual plans
  • Prepare and analyse key financial and non financial metrics to report region performance
  • Provide support and guidance on systems, processes and policies to field based planning consultants
  • Implement and continuously improve financial processes and practices
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis as required by the region

    • The successful candidate will display the following attributes -

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in a sales Financial Planning Analysis role
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related subject or qualified by relevant professional work experience
  • Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience working with Business Objects, HFM, ORACLE ERP
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to communicate financial policy to non financial managers
  • Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, meet monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines as well as deliver on commitments
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic

    • This is a contract position with highly competitive day rate on offer for the right candidate. The contract is expected to be 12 months initially and this role will report to directly to the European CFO.
