Payroller Edinburgh   £18000 - £19500 per annum

Our client require payroller to join their busy finance team. The role will replace the existing payroller who is leaving in the next 4 weeks. Initially the job be temporary with the intention of becoming permanent by the end of September. The salary on offer will be £18,000 but they may be flexible depending upon experience. Due to time constraints the client will only look at immediately available candidates or those with short notice periods.

The role will involve all aspects of payroll, along with assisting the finance team in some of their duties. You will be responsible for:

Preparing and processing monthly payroll for 300 staff
Processing all statutory payments including sickness, maternity/paternity and holidays amongst others
Communicating with all heads of department for starters and leavers
Assisting finance with all payroll reporting
Reconciling revenue streams from other departments

Our client require someone with previous experience in a similar role
Experience of working toward deadlines and busy environment is essential
Knowledge of payroll systems would be an advantage
