Hourly Rate: £8.44 The successful applicant will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a new charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1st July 2011. Bo’ness Recreation Centre provides a wide range of leisure and sporting interests for people of all ages and abilities.
You will have a good general education, cash handling experience, good communication skills, pleasant telephone manner, smart appearance and knowledge and understanding of customer care.
Your duties will include taking bookings by telephone and at the counter, dealing with general enquiries, serving customers, cash handling, operating a computerised till and maintaining records and systems to the high standard necessary to meet the requirements of ISO 9002, our quality assurance system and guarantee a high level of satisfaction from our customers. The main duties of this post will be of an administrative nature. Experience would be preferred. You will work on an as and when required basis. Successful applicants for posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to disclosure checks or the new PVG scheme.
