Our forward thinking, city centre based client is currently recruiting for 10 Customer Service & Sales Specialist's to join their continually expanding team. If you are dedicated to ensuring customers receive the best service and products possible, then please read on.

Position: Customer Service & Sales Specialist
Salary: £14650 rising to £16500
Bonus: Up to 25% to an ote of £21000
Starting: November 2012
Hours: Full time rotational shift patterns inclusive of Saturdays

We need 10 Customer Service & Sales Specialist's who understand the importance of taking ownership of a call and first time resolution. With this being a dual role we are looking for someone who possesses strong Sales and Customer service skills. The importance of Upselling and cross selling plays a big factor in ensuring that customers gain a better knowledge of products, which would open the door to greater customer fulfilment.

DO YOU KNOW ANYONE OR ARE YOU THE PERSON WE NEED?

For this role we would be delighted to hear from you if you have:

  • 2 years customer services / Upselling experience
  • A minimum of 5 standard grades at grade 3 / C or above or equivalent with Maths and English included
  • Computer literacy
  • The ability to work to Sales and Compliance targets
  • Professional Attitude
  • Self Motivator
  • Excellent communication skills.

    Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service and delivering sales through customer contacts
  • Advise customers of products tailored to their individual needs
  • Updating the internal data base timely and accurately
  • Ensuring all KPI's and sales targets are achieved
  • Ensure Data Protection and FSA guidelines are adhered to at all times

    Skills Preferred:

  • Contact centre customer service or sales experience
  • Previous financial service's experience either telephone or face to face
  • Confidence in handling pressurised situations, including complaints
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven track record of achieving targets
  • Excellent time management
