Audit Senior Associate required for the successful Scotland Assurance practice of this Big 4 firm of Chartered Accountants in Aberdeen.
This current opportunity has arisen due to the success and growth of the practice. As a Senior Associate you will have a key role on audit assignments including multinational upstream oil and gas and oilfield service majors. In addition to the valuable experience of working on prestigious accounts and pieces of work, you will work closely with senior management and partners of the firm, be kept up to date on thinking in Corporate Governance and Risk Management and have opportunities to travel and be seconded to overseas destinations such as USA, Russia, West Africa, S Africa, Europe, South East Asia, Canada, the Far East and Australia.
As a Senior Associate in Core Assurance, a large part of your role will be within Audit but a growing piece of the firms' business is around risk advisory, transactions and non-audit assurance which the firm encourages Senior Associates to get involved in.
Coming from a background in audit/general practice, you will be a qualified CA (or equivalent) with previous experience of being the senior on commercial audit engagements. You will have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships and providing exceptional client service.
