QUANTITY SURVEYOR – QS – EDINBURGH – WATER INDUSTRY – 6 MONTH CONTRACT
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to work for our prestigious client based in Edinburgh. This is a 6 month contract initially but is highly likely to be long term.
The role is to provide support and assistance to the Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) within the Wastewater and Water Infrastructure teams. The Quantity Surveyor (QS) will be based in Edinburgh supporting the Delivery Teams within that office however limited travel will be expected occasionally.
Key services to be provided:-
- Draft, negotiate and award Delivery Contracts and Consultancy Services commissions
- Implement consistent and timely change management control process for all projects assigned to the role holder.
- Support and assist project managers and delivery partners to identify, notify, evaluate and report change at the earliest opportunity to allow any cost and programme implications to be recognised within management reports and accurately reported to the Client with mitigation action plans established.
- To operate and administer financial aspects of Delivery Contracts, including payments, evaluation and agreement of Compensation Events and Final Accounts.
Candidates must have previous experience in the water industry.
