Maxwell Bruce Business Support Division have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant on an ongoing temporary basis to become an integral part of a new accounts team and in support of a dynamic and forward thinking business.
You will be responsible for accurately inputting and matching invoices and credits to the sales and purchase ledgers accurately and within agreed timescales. You will provide support to the Senior Accounts Assistant and advise Managers of correct processes and procedures. You will provide reports as required, carry out credit checks on prospective customers and complete necessary general administrative tasks and correspondence in tandem.
Applicants must have previous experience gained from within a busy finance department, including experience of processing large volumes of invoices. A background in manufacturing/production is desirable.
Core working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 (one hour lunch).
