Work Location: Raith Gates House, Kirkcaldy
Hours: 35 hrs/wk Duration: Temporary for 1 Year Salary: £11,939 - £12,314 (Pro Rata)




A care home offers an alternative home for a person who is unable to continue living at home safely. We currently have 10 local authority homes in Fife, which are continuously staffed and provide meals, activities and help with personal care and daily living.

You will undertake a range of domestic tasks, including laundry and cleaning of designated areas.

You may also be requested to provide domestic support in the kitchen/dining areas.

It is essential that you have an understanding of Health & Safety procedures relating to domestic tasks.

Previous relevant experience is desirable, together with an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate.

Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland.
