We have an opportunity for an experienced Management / Cost Allocation Accountant, within our Business Services function at The Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
Business Services is the backbone of the Group, providing a diverse range of high quality services to the customer-facing operations within the Group. Business Services includes; Technology Services, Group Operations, Group Property, Corporate Security Services (Security and Fraud), Business Services Finance, Business Services Human Resources, Business Services Risk, Strategy and Architecture, and Procurement.
RBS employs over 6,500 people in Finance across the globe. This is comprised of central finance areas, specialised teams and divisional finance teams supporting the front-line businesses in over 30 international locations. Finance is responsible for working with the business delivering financial leadership, control, commercial insight and advice.
As Management / Cost Allocation Accountant, you'll act as a key interface to ensure allocation principles and methodology are applied / evolved consistently across the organisation. You'll also ensure high quality outputs to support analysis and decision making across all key stakeholder groups. And you'll ensure that robust processes are designed, understood, adhered to, and implemented to enable production of timely, accurate data for all key stakeholders.
To be successful as Management / Cost Allocation Accountant, you'll be a Finance professional, preferably a qualified accountant, with a strong academic background. You'll also have strong commercial focus, coupled with an analytical skill-set. You'll have a natural ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise, non-technical manner. And the ability to demonstrate sound stakeholder and relationship management skills.
