Our client, one of the world's leading electricity generation & distribution companies, is currently looking to recruit a number of mechanical technicians for contract work up until end of 2012. Previous experience gained in a Power Generation environment would be advantageous.
Main Duties:
Cover all aspects of routine and planned maintenance on all mechanical plant within a Power Station environment.
Undertake investigative work without direction to identify and repair faults·
Work alongside contracting staff as required
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Suitably experienced in a maintenance role.
Gained a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
Qualified to City & Guilds/ National Certificate as minimum level.
The Team Member (Mechanical) will be assessed by the Team Leader who will set objectives, give coaching and recommend training to increase competency and flexibility as the post develops.
