Join the Carnegie College Commercial Team for Engineering & Construction

As a result of ongoing growth and development of our successful industry skills programmes we are keen to create a commercially focussed team to support our School of Engineering and Sustainable Technologies in growing this market even further.

We aim to identify a team of part-time and temporary experts from the sector to work together on a long-term basis.  These roles are offered on an Associate basis only in the following areas:

• content developers for learning materials ( for bespoke employer programmes)
• training associates
• international trainers, able to travel abroad on occasions

The specific key areas open to development are currently:

• Health & safety industry skills
• NEBOSH
• IOSH
• Fabrication and welding
• General construction skills
• Carpentry & joinery
• Electrical and electronic engineering

These positions will allow us to create an expert team able to complement our current professional staffing team, and deliver to current and new customer opportunities in the energy skills environment, home and abroad.

Associates will be self-employed and be responsible for their own Tax and National Insurance contribution payments.
