Commercial Manager (11 Month FTC) Edinburgh   £30K - £40K DOE

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's most vibrant financial services teams in a position for a Commercial Manager within their Travel Money department, to join on an initial 11 month fixed term contract.  You will be working in a dynamic and progressive environment at an incredibly challenging, yet exciting, time.

The purpose of this role will be to review and implement the pricing and development strategies for the fast-paced and rapidly growing Travel Money business, covering face-to-face, online and telephone channels. You will be responsible for the rates and developing the products that the Travel Money part of the business offers its customers.

The main duties of the role will be:

• Reviewing and managing the pricing strategy, e.g. monitoring financial impact, analysing alternative pricing models, proposing customer and staff offers
• Developing the Travel Money product, e.g. adding or improving sales channels, assessing opportunities to integrate with customer intelligence
• Implementing the pricing strategy, e.g. reviewing competitor pricing, setting margins by channel and currency
• Getting to know the Travel Money customer, and general market
