Our client currently requires a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to work within their Community Care and Reablement Team which covers the East Glasgow area. This is a full time position with an initial fixed contract of 2 years and the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate must have a driving licence and access to a car. To be considered for the role of Occupational Therapist, applicants must be fully qualified and registered with the HPC.

It is essential that as an Occupational Therapist you can meet the following criteria in a Community Care team setting:

  • Complete individual assessments of service users and establish their needs.
  • Create care and intervention plans.
  • Refer for appropriate further treatment or assessments.
  • Manage own caseload.
  • Keep service users and their families updated.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals.
  • Further duties as directed by the appropriate managers.

    • The successful candidate will be subject to a PVG check.
