An Edinburgh professional services company is looking to recruit an experienced Events Co-ordinator to join their city centre team. Planning, organizing and executing a variety of events for key stakeholders throughout the year, you will be responsible for improving the company’s services and offerings.
Overseeing and working in collaboration with external stakeholders, you will ensure the smooth running of B2B events, from formal dinners to the annual awards ceremony. Working within a small team environment you will also be responsible for the management and co-ordination of general business operations. Predominantly based in Edinburgh, there may be travel to Glasgow and occasionally to London.
Experience / Skills
- Good commercial understanding
- 3 years experience within a similar events-based role
- A natural communicator, confident liaising with high profile guests and speakers
- Maintaining events database and general admin
- Flexible approach, happy to take the initiative
- B2B experience
You will be highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to the task at hand. Drawing on your excellent attention to detail in administrative tasks you will find it easy to prioritise conflicting demands. You will have had gained experience in client facing, corporate events and will be able to work as part of a small team as well as having the confidence to lead and take ownership of events.
