Restaurant Supervisor – Mercure Aberdeen Ardoe House Hotel & Spa

 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide prompt, friendly and efficient service.

To ensure all customers are promptly greeted on arrival, by name,   in the Restaurant in order to ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed and their requirements are being met.

To ensure appropriate Mis-en-place is prepared for all pre and post services.

Ensure all telephone bookings and enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.

To liaise with chef to ensure availability of all menu items.

To assist with the management of stock to ensure maximum profit with minimum waste.

To provide and implement service of all food and drinks to the required company standard with the relevant pre and post preparations.

To ensure customer satisfaction at all times.  To provide a personalised service to promptly deal with and report any complaints, comments and compliments.

To maximise sales through service by demonstrating good product knowledge and surprising and delighting guests at every opportunity.

To ensure all billing is correct and accurate with attention paid to guest name and room numbers.

Be aware of company products, special offers and daily events and to maintain knowledge of hotel facilities.

To assist with the induction and training of new and existing members of the team. 

We provide free transport to and from work, meals on duty, uniform, gym membership, 2 2-night hotel breaks every year for you and a friend.
