About us
Knowing what our customers need. That’s what makes NFU Mutual different, and it’s what’s made us one of the UK’s leading general insurance and financial services companies, with some 3,500 people and an annual turnover approaching £1.5 billion. Working with established local teams and loyal customers, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding – and practical experience – of the role of a Financial Consultant, and the part they play in a business like ours.
About the role
Working closely with our Financial Consultants, you’ll help our Scotland offices to maximise sales of life, pensions and investment products to new and existing customers, while adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements. In everything you do, you’ll support our Financial Consultants, from playing an important role in lead generation to preparing pre-call information. You’ll also help coach and train agency staff, ultimately improving their confidence in prospecting and providing quality leads.
About you
You’ll need a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English Language. You should also hold a Full Financial Planning Certificate, a Certificate of Financial Planning or a Diploma in Financial Planning. While qualifications are important, you’ll be a quick and keen learner, eager to gain as much knowledge and experience as you can. Like everyone here at NFU Mutual, you’ll enjoy building long-term customer relationships, internally and externally, to make the most of sales opportunities. Sound PC skills are essential, as is a full driving licence.
In return, we offer a competitive benefits package and ongoing professional development.
Application deadline: 28th September 2012
