Finance Assistant - Temporary Edinburgh   £10 per hour

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting on behalf of a very well known specialist consultancy business based in Edinburgh. This client is a well established and respected firm within their field and are continuing to build on their extremely respected reputation.

The Role

Within the finance team for this consultancy business you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the Sales Invoicing process on behalf of the consultants. This role will not necessarily be high volume but will command excellent attention to detail and problem solving. Due to the nature of the invoicing you will be solely responsible for calculating the incurred costs and then allocating them correctly across the ledger of each divisions involved. There will be a need for the successful candidate to posses excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be liaising directly with the consultants to obtain the relevant information as well as the clients. Along with responsibility for the Sales Invoicing you Will also assume responsibility for reconciling the ledger and transactions at month end to confirm that each transaction has been allocated correctly across the group. This role will also require the successful candidate to assist with the month end close and as such you will be comfortable with posting journals and inter-company transactions. This is a role that will suit a professional and articulate candidate that has the drive to make this role their own and add real value to both the finance and wider team.

Salary & Benefits

Initially on a three month temporary basis this sought after Finance Assistant based in Edinburgh will be paying in the region of £10.00 per hour plus holiday benefits to the successful candidate.
