Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education
Queensferry Community High School serves the town of South Queensferry and surrounding area and, currently, has a roll of approximately 760.
The successful candidate will join our vibrant and highly motivated Mathematics and Numeracy Curriculum Area. This consists of Curriculum Leader and seven teachers, supported, part-time, by a classroom assistant.
Target starting date will be as soon as possible after 22nd October 2012.

This post is fixed term until 20 December 2012 and considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
