The Role:
Due to the growth of the company an excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Project Engineer to join the engineering team. Within this position you will play a key leading role in developing concept designs into working production within a fast paced and exciting industry.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Compiling and reviewing design inputs and functional requirements Designing detailed components Drawing component and assembly drawings Document Control to company and client standards. Writing technical reports, manuals and procedures On-going liaison and project reporting to clients Preparation of detailed engineering reports (FEED submissions, Work packs etc) To log and control all Eng. Dept resource manhours and assign to client / project accounts as appropriate in an auditable manner Preparation and co-ordination of specialist tooling for field operatives Production of structural design calculations, co-ordination and control preparation and issue of all engineering drawings, technical documents. Supervise the design, procurement, and manufacture of unit designs Supervise the testing of unit designs Assist other department personnel in on-going manufacture and maintenance projects as required Undertake customer and vendor visits in support of specific projects or business development as and when required. Some International travel is expected along with offshore visits The Candidate:
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar qualification or equivalent work experience Proven track record in a previous Project Engineering role or Design Engineer position. Experience of Oil and Gas or a similar industry would be advantageous Experience in using Cad, specifically AutoCad Computer literate in all MS packages The Company:
