This globally recognised IT Service Management Software company is at the forefront of the IT industry. Based in Edinburgh, they have new plans for growth and expansion and are now looking to take on a Business Development Manager.
Helping to drive and grow company revenue, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new customer opportunities. You will have a proven track record in relationship management and the ability to develop and apply new sales techniques such as SPIN, TAS and Miller Heiman. Working with other sales resources, you will be targeting new accounts and developing these using your ability to discuss complex software concepts whilst tailoring the product to each client.
Reporting to the Sales manager, you will have a proactive approach to your work and be confident in building and maintaining the company profile within the market place. Additionally, you will be co-ordinating resources and creating business relevant demonstrations to ensure that the sale is seen through to completion. You will have a background in software sales and a thorough understanding of solution selling and the ITSM market. Your excellent negotiation skills coupled with your self motivated approach will be the key to your success in this role.
Moreover, you will be confident in developing and presenting a strong business case in a professional and accurate manner. A good understanding of ISO and COBIT and an ITIL qualification will be highly regarded.
