Electrical Testing Engineer Glasgow   Accomodation + Travel

Search Energy are working in Partnership with our Key Client in the Water Industry to source Electrical Testing Engineers for an Immediate start.

In this job you will be working on sites throughout Scotland where you will be responsible for the electrical installation and maintenance of Instrumentation equiptment in the Water Innustry. You will be working on panel modifications and be required to commission them once installed.

There will be a lot of travel required as part of this role as most of the sites will be based in remote locations throughout Scotland.

To be considered for this role you must be able to work in the UK without restriction, therefore candidates out with the EU that do not have a minimum tier 1 visa, coupled with a minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience, need not apply.

In addition, you will be a time-served electrician that will have worked their way up through the ranks. An HNC Electrical qualification is preferred, however candidates with an Electrical Apprenticeship will be considered. You will need to have extensive technical knowledge, therefore experience in the Water Industry is required. You must be able to read technical drawings as you will be using these as a guide for installation.

Candidates with Electrical Inspection and Testing will be considered highly desirable.

You will also need a CSCS as well as Water Hygiene Certification. Confined Spaces would be beneficial, though not essential.
