Customer Service Representative – Retail

Job Role – We have a vacancy for a very well known retail brand who you can be proud to work on behalf of. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) who work on behalf of this retail client deliver a first class, high-end shopping experience to customers. Excellent communication skills are central to this role when conversing with customers over the telephone or responding in writing. Customer queries are dealt with promptly and professionally to meet the individual needs of each and every customer, whether they are making a new purchase or have an enquiry about an item already ordered. In some instances, things can go wrong and our customers can understandably feel let down if there has been a problem. It is the role of the CSR to resolve these problems and complaints by acknowledging the customer’s issue and reassuring them of a solution. This means listening effectively to customers, showing empathy and understanding with any problems encountered by the customer and speaking clearly and amiably.
Salary – circa £12,250 per annum. All of our employees are offered an individual salary based on skills and experience.
Start Date – We will have various start dates from 17th September 2012 through to November. These positions will be temporary to assist with the high volume of activity expected in the months prior to Christmas. These temporary contracts are likely to finish around December and January approximately.
Some of our temporary employees secure longer term employment with Teleperformance on completion of the contract, dependent upon performance and business requirements. Whilst we cannot guarantee that positions will become available within the business, employees who have fulfilled the requirements of the temporary contract will be considered for future employment opportunities that do become available within Teleperformance.
Hours – Full time shifts are 37.5 hours per week working 8.5 hours per day between 0800 and 2200 5/7 days with rotational weekends. Part time mornings are also available working 23.75 hours per week for 5 hours shifts between 0800 and 1400 5/7 days with rotational weekends.
Additional Requirements: All offers of employment will be subject to receipt of satisfactory pre-employment checks prior to commencing employment including the following
