Our client is one of the best known major global operators in the oil and gas industry.

Due to the extent of their North Sea portfolio, they have a job vacancy for a Contract Execution Manager to join their Aberdeen based projects team.

The successful applicant will manage the functional delivery of a multi-billion dollar portfolio. Responsible for over 30 contracts specialists, you will provide support and strategic analysis to the project managers and the teams who actually deliver the projects. Working closely with these delivery managers, you will establish the support required for these projects, in terms of contract resources. Looking ahead at both new and existing projects, you will analyse the global market place to provide strategies for the global business moving forward. With an overview of the projects, and taking responsibility for category management, you will be tasked with building teams of quality contractors worldwide, looking at cost implications and overheads.

To be suitable for this position, you will ideally be working as a Commercial Manager or a Senior Contracts Specialist. Experience with an operator or a larger service provider is an advantage. More important is proven experience on large-scale, high value projects and portfolios. A degree in a relevant business related or technical degree is ideal. You must be able to communicate effectively at senior levels both internal and external. Commercial competency is a must.
