FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER EUROPE / GULF / NORTH AFRICA

BASED FROM STIRLING - SALARY C£40-50,000 (Including base salary plus on call allowance, site working allowance and travel allowance) + BENEFITS

Based in Stirling, Edgar Stewart's client is part of a highly successful blue chip global organisation. They design, manufacture and provide through life support for flow metering and measuring equipment used by companies in the oil and gas sector. Ongoing commercial success and excellent trading conditions, means they now need to make the key hire of a Field Service Engineer covering Europe, the Middle East and occasionally parts of Northern Africa.

Reporting into the Field Service Engineering Manager, the Field Services Engineer will provide customers with an installation, commissioning and maintenance service for all products and systems. You will provide specialised technical support and fault find and repair system components and products. The FSE provide supervision and training for customers site staff covering installation, operation and maintenance of equipment. Other key responsibilities will include:

Educated to HNC/HND calibre or equivalent in an engineering/technical discipline (strong mix of electro/mechanical skills preferred), you are a proven hands on maintenance engineer. We will consider candidates from most engineering or manufacturing backgrounds, but preference will be given to those candidates who have previous Field Service experience, or those who have worked with oil and gas fiscal flow metering or other instrumentation equipment. This will also suit candidates from batch manufacturing environments or waste water and sewerage treatment plants.

Candidates should please note that it is envisaged you will be onsite at customer sites both on and off-shore for up to 70% of your time. Please only apply if your personal circumstances allow you to dedicate the time away from home.
