Factory/Production Manager Edinburgh

The role

You will have an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills and experience leading production in a highly dynamic environment. Your duties and responsibilities will include;

(a) Responsibility for ensuring throughput and quality of product manufacture in a highly dynamic environment
(b) Ensuing product throughput and quality meets site, client and regulatory requirement
(c) Ensuring all targets are met in terms of cost, quality and delivery/throughput
(d) Recruitment, mentoring and development of operational staff
(e) Planning of operational staff to meet production requirements
(f) Liaison with all internal stakeholders on a range of continuous improvement schemes

You will currently be or recently have been a Production Manager within a volume manufacturing environment. You will be able to effectively demonstrate a genuine background in ensuring production throughput meets all site KPIs and SLAs and possess first class management skills. You will have worked within and utilised a range of continuous improvement tools. You will ideally have a background in food manufacturing or a similar product manufacturing environment.
