Field / Control Engineer West Lothian   up to £34K + benefits

This privately owned Scottish company has been a success story, not only increasing its share of the UK market, but extending its overseas business.

The company's machinery is becoming increasingly more sophisticated and complex, and it is looking for a Field Engineer with good control knowledge to support existing Service Engineers, and to provide an improved service to customers.

Based in West Lothian, but working throughout the UK (it is expected that you could be away up to 75% of the time) you will be responsible for dealing with escalated machine control issues. This could entail faultfinding, correcting hardware/software glitches, recommissioning, systems modification, and user support/training.

It is likely that you will be at least time served in an Electrical discipline, with extensive maintenance and/or service experience on PLC controlled production equipment; Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley would be preferred, and a knowledge of comms protocols and SCADA would be useful.
