Field Service Engineer Can be based anywhere   up to £30,000 plus van and good benefits

Company is a new division of one of the world's largest engineering companies. With offices covering the whole of the UK, and further afield, it continues to be a recognisable name in its field.

To manage increased demand and business from its Scottish clients, it requires an additional Field Engineer. Working form home, but reporting to the Regional Technical Manager, you will be responsible for preventative/booked maintenance and servicing, and for emergency (rota once every 8 weeks or so for which an allowance is paid) callouts/repairs, primarily on the company's products, but occasionally on competitors on a 3rd party basis. This will include regular test and service, replacement and upgrade, and fault-finding and repair; you will also be expected to be able to identify opportunities for upgrades, maintenance contracts etc with existing customers.

It is likely you will be formally trained and educated in Electrical Engineering; ideally the client is looking for a background in uninterruptable power supplies to allow you to contribute quickly to the business.
