Corporate Tax Assistant Manager required for the rapidly expanding Aberdeen tax practice of this Big 4 firm of Chartered Accountants.
As part of a highly successful existing Corporate Tax team of approx 30, you will have the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio a diverse range of clients including UK and international listed corporates as well as enterpreneurial OMB's from a range of sectors. You will be involved in both the compliance management process as well getting valuable exposure to a vast array of interesting advisory projects, including audit of tax and ad-hoc consulting work, including tax due diligence and other projects. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, you will have the opportunity to supervise junior members of the team and support business development initiatives.
You will be a qualified Accountant and/or Tax Advisor with prefernce given to those who are experienced in mainstream corporate tax compliance. Applications are also welcome from those who have qualified in general practice/audit/personal tax and are looking to establish a career in corporate tax. Either way, you will have sound knowledge of UK taxation and / or sound knowledge of accountancy principles, in particular accounting for tax (including deferred taxation and accounts presentation). You will also be able to demonstrate strong project management and delivery skills.
Salary £34,250-£38,000 dependent on experience + Benefits (including relocation expenses if applicable). Exceptional career development prospects as you can expect to be aiming for Manager promotion in 12-18 months from joining.
