Financial Accounting Aberdeen   Negotiable

My client, a major energy company based in Tullos, has a vacancy for an experienced Financial Accountant to join its team.

Main responsibilities include:

*Financial reporting in SAP and in house tools.

*Carrying out monthly analytical reviews of income statements and balance sheets.

*Producing of the statutory accounts in accordance with reporting guidelines.

*Working with auditors during statutory accounts sign off, interim and year-end audit.


*Providing assistance to other departments as required, eg tax department.

*Carrying out balance Sheet reconciliations.

*Preparation ad-hoc internal reports and other duties as required.

The successful candidate will:

Be a part qualified accountant, preferably ACCA or CA

Have practical working experience of financial accounting.

Be competent in Microsoft Office packages.

Previous experience of using SAP would be beneficial.
