Administrator

Temporary to Permanent Contract

Based: Edinburgh (Moving to Inverkeithing)

Salary: £17-20,000 Per Annum Depending on Experience

My Client

My client is a successful growing organisation; they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Administrator to join them initially on a temporary contract for approximately 4 months, leading to permanent employment for the right candidate. This role will be based within Edinburgh for the first two months and then will transfer to Inverkeithing thereafter.

Duties will include:

  • Working within a small office, this role will be extremely varied
  • Meeting and greeting all visitors coming onto the site
  • Issuing security and parking passes
  • Answering busy switchboard and transferring calls to the relevant department
  • Booking staff travel and accommodation
  • Dealing with all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Data input
  • Filing
  • Processing monthly payroll
  • Processing staff expenses

  • To be considered for this position, candidates should have the following background and skills:

  • Candidates should have solid administration experience, working within a SME environment in a varied position
  • Able to travel to the site in Edinburgh for the initial two months and then Inverkeithing thereafter
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner is essential
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and ideally QuickBooks
  • Candidates should be able to use your own initiative and work unsupervised
