DEALERSHIP ACCOUNTANT Glasgow   £25-£35k

Our client is a busy and expanding multi franchised dealership group and is currently recruiting a fully qualified and/or experienced Accountant for a flagship venue  in Glasgow.

Key duties of the role will include:-

Responsibility for accurate and timely Management Accounts for the dealership. Compilation of month-end files and completion of books of prime entry to set deadlines.
 Attending Business Reviews following on from Management Accounts production.
 Site vehicle Stocktakes on a monthly basis.
Compilation of  year end files including scheduling all balance sheet control accounts for the dealership and liaising with Auditors during course of the Audit.

This is an extremely important role for this client as the Accountant will form an integral part of the leadership team and deputise for the General Manager.  You will be responsible for a team of direct reports i.e. administration, reception, sales administration.  Excellent communication skills and strong leader/management background will be essential for the position.  In addition a high level of commercial awareness and input to sales strategy meetings will be required.
