Grade: Grade 3 £14,273 - £15,605 Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Shewalton Landfill complex and associated HWRCs, Irvine Duration: 12 weeks What is the Role? To assist in the operation of the Councils Waste Management and Disposal Programs at either the Council Landfill complexes or at a Household Waste Recycling Centres throughout the Council boundries
What will you do?
Banksman duties within a variety of Waste Disposal locations. Traffic control on site, and directing site visitors to the appropriate areas within sites. Site tidiness & cleanliness including cleaning of facilities to defined standards and in compliance with regulated licences. Operation of associated plant & equipment The laying and removal of overnight land protection coverings. General waste management & disposal labouring. Assisting in the Council's recycling and waste separation programs, and the diversion of waste from landfill. Undertaken of attendant duties at Local Authority Household Waste Recycling Centres.
What do you need to bring to the Role?
Experience of manual labouring duties, the ability to work to instruction and deadlines, a positive team player attitude and a focus on performance improvement & excellence in service delivery.
