We are looking to appoint a Support For Learning Assistant to the staff of Beaconhurst Junior School. Potential candidates should be available from mid November 2012. Although the Headmaster is directly responsible for managing all staff, the day-to-day running is delegated to the Head of Junior School.

• Hold a recognised SVQ qualification, or equivalent
• Sound Numeracy, Literacy & IT skills
• Be aware of policies and procedures relating to health & safety; child protection; confidentiality & data protection
• Have an awareness of education in the independent sector
