Accounts Assistant Edinburgh   £20000 - £22000 per annum

Change's client, a prestigious organisation in central Edinburgh are currently looking to recruit an experienced accounts assistant to support their busy finance team for a six month period. To be considered for this role it is imperative that you have a strong background in a similar role and recent experience of the following:

- Exposure to pre-payments and accruals
- High volume invoicing experience
- Reconciliations experience
- A good working knowledge of Excel (intermediate/advanced level)
- Journal posting
- Involvement in month end procedure

You will be integral to the success of a busy but sociable and freindly team and will be energetic and forward thinking. You will possess excellent time keeping and will be keen to add value to the organisation.

With negotiable salary expectations of £21, 000 upwards, this position would suit an individual currently working towards a professional accountancy qualification. Alternatively, it would also prove to be an excellent move for someone with significant accounts assistant experience who is looking to gain further exposure and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.
