£25k to £27k  (plus bonus)

Monday to Friday working on a Day/Backshift weekly rota (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm)

Our client is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join their busy and manufacturing department in Kirkcaldy.

This is a varied and diverse role that provides a link between the Manufacturing Manager and the shop floor workers and involves providing support to the manager to ensure the effective running of the production department.

The successful applicant will have a background in staff leadership, be a strong communicator, have a flexible attitude and have the ability to recognise where improvements in performance and processes can be implemented.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Supervising  up to 10 staff and all related recruitment, disciplinary, training and absence monitoring.

Ensuring targets and budgets are met.

Ensuring Quality and compliance with Environmental policies.

Lead the development of waste and environmental practices.

Managing all aspects of Health and Safety.

Continuous improvement.

Conduct shift briefings to ensure all staff are aware of production targets.
