A leading Environmental Services company is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
The main purpose of the role is to manage all operations within the test laboratory as well as coordinating all field survey work, on behalf of the company. Specific duties include;
- Control of day to day running of the laboratory
- Liaise with Customers
- Ensure timely delivery of testing and reporting to customers
- Identify staff training requirements in order to maintain high service standards
- Maintain a safe & healthy working environment
- Perform all internal and external quality assurance checks
To apply for this position you should educated to a minimum of HNC level in Chemistry and ideally hold P401-P405 certificates for Asbestos management, handling and testing. You should have proven experience in the management of laboratory facilities within the field of Environmental services. You should also have a thorough understanding of the requirements of a UKAS accredited quality system.
