Bookkeeper Edinburgh   £18000 - £22000 per annum + or equivalent on an hourly rate

Eden Scott's client is an independent service provider based in the centre of Edinburgh. Due to a period of maternity leave, Eden Scott have exclusively been tasked with assisting our client in the sourcing of an Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper. The role has been provisioned for 6 months although our client is open to the fact that this will probably be for a 12 month period.

Roles will include, but are not restricted to;
Maintain the client ledgers ensuring payments are allocated to correct accounts,
Ensuring maintenance contracts are paid on time, juggling payables and receivable's,
Collection of outstanding monies by multiple parties,
Reconciliations of multiple accounts (bank, supplier and creditor),
Running and provisioning of BACs payments,

Our client is seeking a bookkeeper in order to assist the account manager and finance controller. We are seeking individuals who are happy working in a small business environment. At present the team consists of 10 members of staff who all enjoy a good sense of humour and are prepared to work until the work is done. We are not seeking candidates who are part qualified but have the personality to join a lively, proactive team working environment. Our client is not a big recruiter although the last permanent hire was made through a maternity contract.
