Salary: Starting at £21,246 with progression to £25,807 pro rata 

Initially funded until 31 March 2013

CHILDREN 1ST 4Ward Steps is a Family Support Service designed to improve the quality of life for vulnerable Children & Families who are affected by significant substance misuse. The ethos of the service is to promote and nurture resilience and positive parent and child attachments. CHILDREN 1ST deliver this service in partnership with North Ayrshire Local Authority.

We are presently looking for two skilled and enthusiastic family support workers to help us deliver this service working as part of a multi-agency team.

If you share our values in building on strengths within the family network to find  solutions and promote positive outcomes for children and have a SVQ level 3/ HNC or equivalent in Child Care or related area and experience of working with families affected by substance misuse we would like to hear from you.

This service works around the needs of service users and a flexible approach is needed as irregular hours may be incorporated in this post.
