A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading Oil and Gas Operator as a Commercial Contracts Engineer.

Reporting to the Commercial Contracts Manager you will provide contract support to the Procurement Services, IT and HR departments developing highly effective relationships with all team members. Duties will include, preparation of tender strategies and ITT documentations for IT Master Services Agreements and HR Requirements, commercial management of long-term master service contracts, tender evaluation, direct contractual and commercial negotiation. You will also be responsible for contract risk mitigation and commercial optimisation. You will liaise with key internal stakeholders to evaluate tenders, obtain contract award approvals and contract extensions. In addition to this you will also provide support to the Subsurface and Wells team.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Business Studies/Commercial, Quantity Surveying or similar. You will have gained considerable experience in an oil and gas contracts administration role performing comparable duties preferably within an Operator and you will have detailed knowledge of LOGIC model contracts. You will be an effective contracts negotiator with good presentation and meeting skills, a good communicator at all levels both internally and externally and a team player with good time management skills.
