Production and Sales Accountant Aberdeen   £75000.00 - £85000 per annum + benefits

Hays Senior Finance is currently working with one of the world's leading energy companies, recruiting for an exciting post based in Aberdeen. With a reputation for recognition and reward, this organisation are seeking a Production and Sales Accountant to join their Upstream business. You will work for an Operator with an extensive asset portfolio and be responsible for the accounting activities associated with the booking and production of sales relating to the assigned asset base.

This is a key role reporting into the Finance Team Lead for the division. Your responsibilities will include the Production and Sales accounting activities for operated and non-operated assets. This will include calculating and booking company production and inventory; raising, booking and credit control on product sales invoice for assets; variance analysis and sales reforecasting.

To be successful in this job, you will have experience in oil and gas accounting, may be studying towards or be a fully Qualified Accountant and will have knowledge of SAP accounting system. You will have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as the ability to identify and drive process improvements where required.
